Servo and Drive Systems

Precise control for high dynamics

High-precision drive and control systems for antennas and telescopes form the backbone of high-performance communication and observation systems. Developed by interdisciplinary teams of experts, they combine mechanical precision with intelligent control and automation technology. The Antenna Control System ACS 8500 enables alignment and tracking with millidegree precision and integrates functions for metrology and calibration. Supported operating modes include Program Track, Monopulse, and Orbit Prediction. Remote control is via LAN, supplemented by GPS synchronization for precise GEO tracking and reliable use in TT&C and remote sensing applications.

Reflectors & Structures

Robust Designs for Extreme Conditions

CPI Vertex’s reflectors and supporting structures form the mechanical foundation of high-precision antenna and telescope systems and are consistently designed for stability, accuracy, and long-term reliability. They are developed for reliable operation under extreme climatic and mechanical conditions—from high wind loads and large temperature fluctuations to icy and desert-like environments. Thanks to precise mechanical design, high-quality steel, aluminum, and composite structures, as well as modular reflector panel concepts, the systems ensure consistently high dimensional stability and surface accuracy. Optional integrated features such as panel adjustment, reflector heating, and thermal compensation ensure performance even under demanding environmental conditions.

Feed-Systeme

Broadband solutions up to 100 GHz

The feed systems used are designed for maximum electrical performance and broadband capability and support frequency ranges up to 100 GHz for demanding SatCom, TT&C, remote sensing, and deep-space applications. They form the central interface between the reflector and RF subsystems and contribute significantly to the overall performance of the antenna system. The solutions include single-band, dual-band, and multiband feeds, as well as custom configurations with simultaneous transmit and receive capability and excellent isolation characteristics. All feed systems are developed, integrated, and tested for specific applications and can be seamlessly integrated into CPI-Vertex antenna platforms. They provide a scalable and future-proof foundation for modern high-performance ground stations and scientific antenna systems.

RF Components

Reliable Signal Processing

CPI Vertex integrates proven RF components from Communications & Power Industries (CPI) and third-party manufacturers, providing a powerful foundation for reliable signal processing in SatCom, TT&C, remote sensing, and deep-space applications. The portfolio includes, among other things, TWT and solid-state power amplifiers (TWTA, SSPA), low-noise amplifiers (LNA), block up/down converters, and other high-frequency modules for all relevant frequency bands up to the V/W band

Monitoring & Control Systems

Centralized, Mobile Control

CPI Vertex’s Monitoring & Control (M&C) systems enable centralized control and monitoring of all system components within antenna and RF systems. They support safe, stable, and efficient operation in mission-critical applications.
The systems have a modular design, can be seamlessly integrated into existing infrastructures, and support both local and remote operation—for maximum availability, operational reliability, and efficiency in stationary, mobile, or transportable scenarios
