Solutions & Systems from CPI Vertex Antenna Technology

CPI Vertex offers a comprehensive range of antenna systems, including GEO, MEO, HEO, LEO, and multi-orbit ground stations, precision antenna systems, and radio telescopes. The portfolio is complemented by RF electronics and monitor & control (M&C) systems. The solutions address applications in SatCom, remote sensing, TT&C, and deep-space missions and support frequency bands from S-band to Q/V-band. Customized system integration, along with global service and support, ensure high reliability and efficiency in stationary, mobile, or transportable deployment scenarios.

Full-Motion Antennas

Precise Tracking for Dynamic Missions

CPI Vertex full-motion antennas offer large, continuous ranges of motion as well as high alignment and tracking accuracy thanks to electrically bias tourqed axes in azimuth, elevation, and optional tilt. They achieve high velocities, enabling reliable LEO tracking from satellite altitudes of approximately 400 km.
The systems support operating modes such as Program Track and Auto Track, including multiband-capable tracking. Available in diameters ranging from 5.5 m to 20 m, they are ideally suited for multi-mission operations in TT&C and remote sensing. Options such as reflector heating and integrated hub space for RF subsystems support reliable operation under demanding environmental conditions.

Plug & Play Systems

Ready for immediate use from 5.5 to 13.5 m

CPI Vertex’s Plug-&-Play antennas are fully prefabricated, integrated, and tested in Germany, reducing on-site installation time to less than 20% and minimizing costs. They use standardized components for low maintenance and spare part requirements, with high tracking accuracy and simple IFL via fiber optics. Available in sizes from 5.5 m to 13.5 m, they cover all frequencies up to Q/V-band and are optimized for GEO/MEO/HEO and LEO applications with a tilt axis, including health monitoring and energy-efficient heating.

CPI Vertex develops and implements high-performance ground station solutions for stationary, mobile, and transportable deployment scenarios. The systems feature a modular design and can be precisely tailored to mission-specific requirements in SatCom, TT&C, remote sensing, and multi-orbit applications. CPI Vertex develops and supplies high-performance radio telescopes for astronomical and scientific observations with the highest demands on mechanical precision, stability, and long-term performance. The systems are designed for continuous operation and support precise measurements across wide frequency ranges. Thanks to high-precision antenna designs, precise drive and control systems, and the integration of modern RF and data subsystems, CPI Vertex radio telescopes enable the reliable detection of faint cosmic signals. CPI Vertex offers high-performance RF electronics solutions for reliable signal processing in demanding ground station, antenna, and space applications. The portfolio includes amplifiers, converters, switching solutions, and monitor and control subsystems that are optimally tailored to the respective antenna systems. With high electrical performance, robust design, and seamless system integration, these RF electronics solutions support precise and stable operation across all relevant frequency bands from S-band to Q/V-band. CPI Vertex’s Monitoring & Control (M&C) systems enable centralized control and monitoring of all system components within antenna and RF systems. They support safe, stable, and efficient operation in mission-critical applications. The systems have a modular design, can be seamlessly integrated into existing infrastructures, and support both local and remote operation, ensuring maximum availability, operational reliability, and efficiency in stationary, mobile, or transportable scenarios
